Eat at Zen and ask for Hugo - whoo whoo! This was our best meal and the best service the entire time we were at the resort. Every other meal was cold and had meh service. Although the tacos from Delnis in the buffet area were delicious and he was EXCELLENT. These two servers went above and beyond. Delicious, hot, and tasty!

Ok, let me preface this by saying. This review is going to be based on this resort been classified as a 5 star. We only usually stay at 5 stars when coming to Mexico so we are accustomed to a certain level of service, food and amenities. 1. Rooms - Great rooms no complaints. They are big modern and come with roll away beds and a pull out sofa 2. Food - very mediocre. The dinner restaurants were ok but nothing great and not what I would expect for a 5 star resort. Everything felt like an upsell. they always wanted you to get the paid bottle of wine or the better steak for more a price. - Not enough options as well for the size of the resort. Lineups always at every food station. - from 1030 - 12pm there is no where to get any food but room service. 3. Kids club - Awesome my kids loved it 4. Water park - Amazing. Probably the best part of the resort and a definite 5 star experience with the water park. Both the big kids part and the little kids area. Both were amazing. 5. Pools - Huge pools lots of chairs 6. room service - We only ordered it once and it took 2 hrs and was terrible. 7. Diamond club - We did not do this because the price to upgrade was ridiculous. But everything is geared towards diamond club upgrade. Everyone else is treated like a lower class. If you asked for a bottle of water they basically said thats only for diamond club. lol 8. Trampoline/Arcade/Bowling - Have to pay to use this and completely not worth it. We had a lovely week at the resort the staff are friendly and they are trying to make your stay great. But we would not come back and stay here. We would go back to a Hyatt Ziva 100% over this and they are both 5 stars.
